Tops in taste for a pre-grind. A staple for ages, but one which is priced way above the european market's in the US, so has become more of an occasional brew. Now usually replaced with the almost as nice Lavazza Crema e Gusto.

Definitely my favorite coffee. I like most Lavazza, but this gran filtro is my favorite. I brew in drip coffee pot, a stovetop moka pot, and also in a kuerig -- great all ways, probably best from the moka pot. Good price at amazon.

Seeking a better life, the two brothers left their homeland in the Basque region of Spain and traveled to the rich coffee-bearing soil of the southern Cuban mountains. It was on this productive land that their plantation, Hacienda Buenos Aires, began its reputation as the center of the region's coffee community. As a boy, Don Francisco worked in the fields with his own father, watching and learning the secrets of growing quality coffee. He spent hours upon hours helping the field hands sow the seeds and urging the little plants to grow. Don Francisco also learned how to pick and dry the beans and slowly, over time, how to judge which were the very best quality and which were not. From that day to this, only the highest quality beans are ever chosen for roasting under the Gaviña label. Today these same traditions live on in the Gaviña company. Excellent taste nice bold flavor, not bitter (like it better than Starbucks, and, added bonus, 1/2 the cost). Just ordered off of Amazon, but found that it is only $3.83/10 oz can at Walmart, so I would suggest trying there first (same 4 can order at Walmart is $15.32). They were out, so when I found it on Amazon, I ordered. Still worth the price though. Very much recommend!!

I love this coffee. I used the Starbucks espresso before this, and before that I had the Lavazza decaf packaged in a green can, I like this one the best.
I love the taste, it is not bitter, it smells wonderful, the foam doesn't dissolve after 5 sec which is what happens with the Starbucks espresso.
I was very skeptical about buying the product with almost no reviews but it worked out great for me. I'm a coffee lover and I am very particular about it.
This is the best Decaf espresso I've had and I highly recommend it. I also like the Lavazza regular espresso the best of all the Espressos I've tried so it may be that I'm a Lavazza fan.
Shipping was fast, it got to me way faster than what it said on Amazon and I was thrilled since I had run out of decaf and need it badly.

First I should say, I don't write reviews usually but the one review on this coffee made me do it. I'm a coffee drinker, I drink coffee every day. I've had a lot of different coffees, some good, some awful, and some that made me really happy. This coffee makes me happy, mainly because it delivers what it says. It is a dark french roast coffee. It's already ground so you don't have to do that but it also makes a difference in how you want to brew it. I've used this coffee in my electric percolator and my stove top one and it works divinely. The grind is large enough that it works really well. I don't recommend you drink this if you don't like dark roasts. If you normally use a smaller grind of coffee, you'll need more of this to get the same punch. I make coffee in many ways and I'm excited to have found this one for my percolators!
